ECO-FRIENDLY PROTECTIVE CASE FOR REUSABLE PPE

Leadoff Studio worked closely with CastleGrade to develop an eco-friendly design to store, protect and extend the life of their reusable face masks. CastleGrade’s customer base, which includes a lot of medical professionals and teachers, loved the usefulness of the mask but found that it would get unsanitary too easily between uses.
The case was designed as a solution customized to the user-experience of CastleGrade's customers. It was designed with simplicity in mind, using only 3 parts to create two compartments that are easy to open and provide a secure closure. The main compartment of the case fits any of the company's masks, and the bottom side has an elevated compartment to safely hold replacement filters. Leadoff Studio designed the case entirely of Stainless Steel so it can be easily sanitized in a dishwasher or boiling water.

CastleGrade’s mission to reduce waste from PPE aligned perfectly with Leadoff Studio’s sustainability driven design values. The case was designed with the environment in mind at every decision point. The result is a long lasting eco-conscious product design that will last for decades, and can be easily recyclable at its end-of-life.
Made 100% of Stainless Steel so the product can last for decades.
All graphics are laser etched, using no inks.
Simple construction made of only 3 parts, so it can be repaired.
No plastic used anywhere.
Recyclable curbside if a user ever decides to dispose of it.
Estimated to extend the life of CastleGrade’s reusable face mask by nearly double, preventing it from getting dirty, damaged or breaking.
